The hotel is upgrading their elevators so we will only have one elevator operational at a time from June 27th till July 25th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Staff will be available to assist guests.

Stars & Art
The Lowell Observatory has long been a staple tourist attraction in Flagstaff, Arizona. Known mostly for housing a 4.2-meter telescope that rises seven stories above the top of a cinder cone forty miles from Flagstaff, the Lowell is easily one of the must see attractions when staying in Flagstaff. That being said, from now until August 30, an art exhibit featuring Greg Mort will be at the observatory. "Nightwatch - Inspirations of Art and Astronomy," will be on display during visiting (hours 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.) in the Steele Visitor Center, located on Mars Hill Road. For those who don't know, Mort is widely regarded as a leading American contemporary artist and his work has been exhibited and acquired by museums worldwide, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, The White House Art Collection and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. Mort will be a great addition to the already wonderful experience at Lowell. Don't hesitate another minute because this is the perfect opportunity to escape the summer heat and head up north one more time before the kids have to go back to school.
