Lowell Observatory

Founded in 1894 by prominent mathematician Percival Lowell, the Lowell Observatory is active in astronomical research and welcomes visitors year-round for tours and telescope viewing. It features a 4.2-meter telescope rising seven stories above the top of a cinder cone.
